Mexico.- With the endorsement of the federal and DF governments, after more than 2 decades of absence Formula One Management (FOM) signed in London the contract that grants Mexico a date in the 2015 calendar.

The agreement was signed last week by Bernie Ecclestone, executive director of FOM, sources close to the organization told Reforma newspaper.

The agreement was subject to the requirement that the administrations endorse it, which was obtained by the company that promotes CIE shows, which runs the Autodromo Hermanos Rodrguez and Foro Sol.

After more than 20 years (the last race of Formula One that took place in Mexico was in March of 1992), the maximum category of the motorsport will run in the Autodrome the next 5 seasons, and with option to remain 5 more.
In his note, in the supplement Cancha, Ricardo Roura indicates that it is contemplated that the race in Mexico is scheduled for October or November next year.

It will be the International Automobile Federation who decides whether it is before or after the US Grand Prix, which takes place in Austin, however, the final schedule will be known until December.
